Vaping ads illegal from today
11th November 2020 Today the Smokefree Environments and Regulated Products (Vaping) Amendment Act (the Amendment Act) comes into effect with the first of five phases of provisions. In this initial phase, the existing prohibitions on the advertisement and sponsorship of tobacco products is extended to vaping products.

Anzac Day Advertising Guidelines
The Ministry of Culture and Heritage provides guidelines about the use of the word Anzac in advertising. The guidelines prohibit the use of the word Anzac in trade or business unless approval has been given by the minister for arts, culture and heritage and the governor-general.
December 2019 Newsletter

Today the new Gambling Advertising Code applies to all ads
The new Gambling Code recognises that gambling advertisements must not undermine the need for the prevention and minimisation of gambling-related harm, with particular regard for the need to protect children, young people and other vulnerable persons.
