The advertiser committed not to reuse an image for marketing purposes, following concerns it appeared to show children travelling in a car without using appropriate seat restraints.

North Beach

The advertiser committed not to use an advertisement again, following concerns an email advertisement promoting alcohol themed products had been sent to a minor.

Booking.com

The advertiser amended an advertisement following a complaint it contained misleading claims.

Liquorland Parklands
25/312 | Settled in Part, Not Upheld in Part | Digital Marketing
The Complaints Board did not uphold a complaint about a Liquorland Parklands Facebook competition advertisement, noting it provided sufficient information and a link to the terms and conditions. Concerns relating to age restriction on the page were settled after the Advertiser restricted page access to those aged over 18.

Gaspy NZ

The Complaints Board did not uphold a complaint about a Gaspy newsletter advertisement which included an image of a person using their mobile phone at a petrol station.

Good George Brewing
25/294 | Not Upheld in Part, Settled in Part | Digital Marketing, Product Name and Labelling
A complaint by Communities Against Alcohol Harm was partly settled after the advertiser removed a website advertisement promoting a “Crisis Management Pack”. Remaining concerns about the product name, labelling and website advertising for the Good George Fuckery Series were not upheld as they targeted adults and did not reach the threshold to breach the Code.
