Radiant Health Centre amends wording following complaints
A holistic health clinic in Wellington has removed wording on its website following complaints about misleading therapeutic claims.
The six complaints about Radiant Health Centre’s wording on its website, were concerned the centre was making unsubstantiated therapeutic claims which could be misleading.
Before complaints go to the Advertising Standards Complaints Board, advertisers have the option of amending or removing their advertising. Radiant Health Centre removed the wording after learning of the complaints.
Complaints Board Chair Raewyn Anderson ruled that given the self-regulatory action by the advertiser there was no further purpose in taking the matter to the Complaints Board. The matter was ruled as settled.
